🚫🐾 **Just Because Those Eyes Are Cute… Doesn’t Mean It’s Safe!** 🐾🚫

Dachshunds (and *all* dogs) are professional beggars. Olympic‑level. Gold medalists in The Art of the Stare. 😍

But some of the foods we love can be **dangerous—or even deadly—for dogs**, no matter how small the bite.

Here’s a quick **“hard NO” list** every dog parent should know 👇

❌ **Chocolate** – Even a little can be toxic
❌ **Grapes & raisins** – Can cause kidney failure
❌ **Onions, garlic & chives** – Damage red blood cells
❌ **Xylitol** (found in sugar‑free gum, candy & peanut butter!) – Causes dangerous blood sugar drops
❌ **Alcohol & caffeine** – Extremely harmful
❌ **Macadamia nuts** – Can cause weakness, vomiting & tremors
❌ **Fatty table scraps** – Major trigger for pancreatitis (especially in doxies!)

And here’s the sneaky part 👉 foods baked into breads, desserts, sauces, or leftovers can be *just as dangerous* as the obvious stuff.

💡 **Rule of paw:** If it didn’t come from the dog‑food aisle or your vet didn’t approve it, don’t share it.
