It doesn't matter how hard you try not to get attached to these kids, as students consistently come and go over the years. But when you've been coaching them for so long and have watched them grow, it still gets a little emotional.

Today we had our last ride before sending Keira off to college.
You will be missed! Aspen especially will be sad to see you go. You've stuck by him and us through the injuries, the move, the chaos. Never once giving up on him when he struggled, even when it would've been much easier to switch horses and that has meant the world to me, having a student that loves this horse almost as much as I do.

Good luck with all your endeavors and we look forward to seeing you on breaks!

Your favorite power couple has done it again! Our latest set of upgrades, 9 months earlier than we planned but when things line up perfectly one must go where fate leads!
We have been traveling for 12 hours and we are EXHAUSTED but finally almost home with the new rig.

Truck and Trailer for sale, we are upgrading to a bigger setup!

Used 2 horse trailer. Good condition only flaws are minor rust and center divider pins need secured. New tires, new wiring and lights, and excellent condition rubber mats. Also comes with a smaller tack box that fits in front. Asking $4,000 obo

2009 dodge ram 1500 5.7 hemi 4x4 in good condition with low miles for the year. Has fresh valve packs in transmission, new ecu, new tcu, new battery, like new BF Goodrich A/T tires (purchased a year ago), new brakes 6 months ago, and new starter. Up to date on all fluid changes. Has typical Indiana road rust. Bed liner is in great shape, also has soft bed cover that is functional but split on edges due to sun. Alpine premium sound system with touch screen display with apple car play, backup camera, heated seats, heated mirrors, and aftermarket trailer brake controller. Asking $10,000 obo currently has just barely over 140,000 miles but may go up slightly if we need to pull a trailer before selling.

The end to a fantastic week with our 4H group. Our team was ON FIRE our last year of 4H. (Accept Lorelai, who will be continuing her last few years in contesting)

The kids are ready to broaden their horizons, show at a higher level and hit the circuit.

So incredibly proud of all of them and the horses. The amount of work that has gone into training each one of them, the sportsmanship and attitudes of the kids and their hard work, it has really paid off. All the ribbons and championships are just a testament to what everyone saw in them this year.

I personally had the best 4H year I've had yet, hardworking kids and a close knit team, parents participating and everyone working together took a major workload off of me and Natanya.
My incredible husband having my back all the way, and a good half of our 32 students showing up through the week to support their team.

Team Whisper showed up kicking ass and taking names!
These kids have worked their hearts out all year and had something to prove tonight and boy did they accomplish their goal!

Video and photo dump to come. But we are on cloud freaking 9 tonight, students, parents and coaches alike!

Special thanks to all the team members, photographer, parents and family that came out to cheer our kids on. We had a good 15+ students in the stands this evening cheering their teammates on. What a night.

Western day! These two came in strong and hyped. Rj survived his first show away from home and came away really strong! Placed incredibly well, especially with a 2nd in showmanship. Would have come in first for reining but accidentally DQ d himself touching his horn.

Lorelai placed in the top few of her pattern class for the first time ever 😁 her hard work paying off. And ran the fastest reining pattern known to man (whoops) 🤷‍♀️ no amount of "slow that barrel horse down" from coach was slowing that horse down 😂

We have all been awaiting contesting day chomping at the bit. So here we go!! Let's give'em hell.

The picture says it all.

We were exhausted yesterday but these girls absolutely killed it.

4 horses shown every single class. The pit stop saddle swaps and horse swaps, their closest teammates had their backs yesterday, keeping them and their horses hydrated and patterns and snacks passed around.

So incredibly proud of these two my heart hurts. ❤️ Next year, bring on the big time.
