Spooky season calls for a little extra creepy-crawly content! 🕷️🕸️

Meet the Pink Toe Tarantula! Despite their intimidating appearance, these fascinating arachnids are known for their climbing abilities and distinctive pink-tipped toes. Fun fact: Unlike many ground-dwelling tarantulas, Pink Toes are arboreal, meaning they spend much of their time in trees!

Curious about these eight-legged wonders? Stop by Petland and ask about their availability!

🐾 Forever Friend Friday: Meet Goofy! 🐾

Meet Goofy, a special boy with an incredible story of survival, resilience, and second chances! 💛

When Goofy was found by Lawrence County Humane Agent Drew, he was barely clinging to life. Thanks to the dedication of Drew, Shelter Director Denise, the team at Proctorville Animal Clinic, and a loving foster family, Goofy has made an amazing recovery! 🥰

🌟 A little about Goofy:
🐶 Approximately 1 year old and around 60 pounds
🎓 A graduate of The Dog Wizard training program in Russell, KY
❤️ Neutered and fully vaccinated
🐕 Loves playing with other dogs and visiting the dog park
✨ Smart, playful, and still enjoying his puppy phase!

Goofy is looking for an experienced, committed owner who will continue to help him thrive and give him the loving home he deserves.

💕 And there’s a little something extra for his future family! If you adopt Goofy, you’ll receive a $25 Petland South Point gift certificate, a small bag of food, and a few extra treats to help celebrate his new beginning!

Goofy has already overcome so much. Now, he just needs someone to give him the forever home he’s been waiting for. 🏡

📍 Goofy is available for adoption through the Lawrence County Ohio Humane Society. Meet-and-greets are being arranged at his foster home in Ironton.

📩 Interested in meeting Goofy? Send the Lawrence County Humane Society a direct message to learn more!

Let’s help this deserving boy find his forever friend! 🐾💛

💜 This October, Petland South Point is standing with survivors — and the pets who stand beside them. 🐾

For Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we’re proud to support Safe Harbor of Northeast Kentucky, Inc. by collecting donations throughout October to help survivors and their beloved pets.

We’re accepting:
🐶 Dog & cat food
🐾 Cat litter
🦴 Collars & leashes
🧸 Toys & treats
❤️ Other essential pet supplies

Every donation can help make a difference and remind survivors that their pets are part of the family, too.

📍 Drop off donations at Petland South Point throughout October.

Together, we can help ensure that when someone seeks safety, they don’t have to leave a beloved pet behind. 💜🐾
