Afternoon Adventures Each buddy gets patient, kind, and fun exercise during our time together! Similarly, pet-sitting adventures can be just as fun and rewarding.

Dog walking and pet sitting can be a wonderful adventure for both the pets and their human companions. As a pet lover, I always enjoy spending time with furry friends and getting to know their unique personalities. During a dog walking adventure, there's nothing quite like seeing a dog's tail wagging with excitement as they explore new sights and smells. Whether we're walking through a park or around the neighborhood, it's always a joy to see dogs enjoying their surroundings and getting the exercise they need. Plus, I love getting to know each dog's unique traits and preferences, from their favorite toys to their preferred walking pace. It's always a treat to spend time with cats, dogs, and other pets in their own homes, where they feel most comfortable. Whether it's playing with toys, cuddling on the couch, or just keeping them company while their owners are away, it's a privilege to be trusted with the care of these beloved animals. Overall, the adventures of dog walking and pet sitting are a fantastic way to build connections with animals and their owners. As a responsible and attentive caregiver, I always strive to provide the best possible care and attention to the pets I look after, and I find that the joy and fulfillment I get from spending time with these furry friends is truly priceless.

Wow!

Ruth Ann Decker, 73, tied her beagle mix, Sadie, to the bench outside Kessler's Hardware in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She went in for furnace filters and was inside for four minutes.

The camera over the door shows a person in a gray hood untie the leash and walk Sadie up the sidewalk. Sadie pulls back the whole way, looking at the store.

Ruth Ann put up flyers and called every shelter in Allen County. Gary Kessler printed a still from the video and put it in his front window.

Nine days went by.

On the 10th morning, Gary came in the back way early and checked the overnight video out of habit. At 4:52 a.m., a beagle mix walks into the frame dragging a chewed rope. The dog sniffs the bench and lies down under it.

Sadie was still under the bench when Gary got to the front door. He called Ruth Ann before he'd even unlocked it.

She was there in six minutes, in her house slippers.
