Sneak peak into some of what I’ve been working on the past few weeks while I have been rather *quiet*.

I’ve actually been quite busy — and I am SOOO stoked to share with you everything I’ve been working on!! I’m hoping to be able to announce my first class date around Sept 1st. Until then, you can wait my waitlist to be among the FIRST to know when I have classes up and available!

And yesterday, I officially secured our business insurance plan — which was a HUGE step in this process beginning to actually feel… **REAL**…

I am SOOO excited to be able to present my very first, independent group class.

Stay tuned for the flyer tomorrow morning! 😉

In the meantime, enjoy our new logo. From here onward, Aki (my late, epileptic border collie) will be the enriching piece behind our name in our logo. Keep checking back to this page for useful training tips and tricks as well as a fun new photo of our boy featured on our logo once every couple weeks or so.

Because what screams enrichment more than showing what it *actually looks like.*

Alright, ya’ll, it’s only been a week since resigning from PetSmart...
..but I think I've accidentally turned my brain into a giant whiteboard. 😂

I've spent the last several days rethinking everything I thought a dog training curriculum "had" to look like.
The more I thought about it, the more I realized...
Life doesn't happen in Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.

It happens when someone knocks on the door.

When you're trying to enjoy a walk.

When your dog steals a sock.

When your mind goes...

"Ope... where'd that brain go?" 😅

So instead of trying to recreate the same classes I've always taught, I've been building something — structurally — completely new.
Something centered around helping people understand how dogs learn, how to better read what their dogs are communicating, and how to make everyday life easier for both ends of the leash.

I have pages and pages of ideas scribbled down already (and yes... one of the classes is actually called "Ope... Where'd That Brain Go?" 😂).
There's still a lot to build before I'm ready to officially launch, but I'm honestly really excited about where this is headed.

Thank you to everyone who's followed along this past week. Your encouragement has meant more than you probably realize. ❤️

Starting the garden as early as I can this year!

Got most of our seeds going last week and this week I started planning out what I want to do in the yard as well started a couple compost spots 🪴🪵

Super excited to get things going this year.

Have you ever thought about creating a garden around your dogs? What kind of fun, dog-safe plants would you plant? 🐶🌻

(Disclaimer: not all of these are going in the dog yard as not all are dog-safe. I started a few for our garden up front as well, but most are! If you have any questions about what is dog-safe, just ask! 🌚)
