Thank you to our new rescue partner, Foster Fur Love for stepping up and pulling this dog from Gary Animal Control! We’re always excited to welcome another rescue partner into our network!

Thank you to Gary Animal Control officers for rescuing and caring for her while we worked to secure placement.

And a special thank you to our wonderful volunteer transporters Lori and George, who never hesitate to step up and help get animals where they need to go. We are always so grateful for their time, dedication, and willingness to hit the road!

500. ❤️🐾

We can’t even explain what the number 500 means. Five hundred lives. Five hundred chances. Five hundred stories that could have ended so differently.

Today, Foster Fur Love turns ONE year old. And in just one year, we’ve helped save 500 lives.

Behind that number are scared animals who found safety, broken beginnings that turned into happy endings, and little souls who finally got the love they always deserved.

There have been sleepless nights, tears, hard decisions, and moments that have reminded us exactly why we do this. We can’t save them all, and that will always hurt. But for 500 animals, we were able to make a difference. And that means everything.

To our fosters, adopters, volunteers, donors, and everyone who has shared a post or cheered us on — these 500 lives are yours, too. We couldn’t do this without you. ❤️

One year ago, we started with a mission. Today, we’re celebrating 500 reasons to keep going.

500 lives. One year. Countless paw prints on our hearts.
