𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐛𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞? Here’s a quick breakdown of what to expect once the bidding ends:

▪️ You’ll receive an email letting you know you’re the winning bidder.

▪️ After the entire sale is complete and the sale monitors have verified that everything closed correctly, you’ll receive a congratulations email. This email includes all the next steps and an attached invoice with the payment details.

▪️ Once your funds are received, you’ll get a call confirming payment, and the seller/agent will receive the same notification.

▪️ You can then contact the seller/agent to arrange pickup.
𝑵𝒐𝒕𝒆: If you didn’t save their contact information, the completed sale moves to the Results page, which stays live for one week.

▪️ A copy of the horse’s Coggins will be emailed to you after payment is received.

▪️ Because we don’t know where the horse will be headed, obtaining a health certificate is the buyer’s responsibility. The seller/agent can assist with arranging it, but the cost is on the buyer. The seller/agent will need your information and enough time to complete the certificate before pickup.
𝑻𝒊𝒑: Cash App is often the easiest way to send the health certificate fee to the seller/agent.

▪️ Horses must be picked up within 10 days. Anything beyond that is up to the buyer and seller/agent to arrange, including any boarding costs.

▪️ Please send the name and AQHA ID that you’d like the horse transferred to as soon as possible.
𝑵𝒐𝒕𝒆: The longer it takes for the office to receive this information, the longer it takes to submit the transfer packet to AQHA.

𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗡𝗖𝗛𝗔 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 - 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

Western Bloodstock has implemented an updated Health Certificate Requirement for all horses consigned to the 2025 National Cutting Horse Association Futurity Sales.

Effective Immediately:

1. Original Health Certificate (CVI) must be dated within one (1) day of the date that the horse sells.

2. Only one (1) horse per health certificate.

3. Health Certificate must contain the following statement: "No horse presented on this CVI has been on a premise with a confirmed case of EHV-1 within the last 21 days."

OR

Possession of Horse Statement must be completed by person in possession of horse.

4. The 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 and Possession of Horse Statement and 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 must be turned in to the Sale Office together One Day Prior to sale day or no later than 7:00 A.M. on sale day.
