Hi everyone! Kate’s Coastal Care has taken off so much more than I ever expected, and I’m incredibly grateful for that. With the business growing, I’ve realized I need to make a few small changes so I can keep everything organized, consistent, and fair for everyone.
Moving forward, weekly payment will be due the morning of your baby’s last scheduled day of care for that week, before arrival. Effective starting next week. This makes it easier for me to keep track and not have to follow up.
Your weekly rate reserves your baby’s scheduled spot, so if you choose not to bring your baby on one of their normal scheduled days, the full weekly rate will still be due unless I’m given a notice. When a scheduled spot goes unused, it can also take away an opening I could have offered to a drop-in family or someone on my waitlist.
I completely understand that babies get sick, appointments happen, and plans change. I just need to make sure reserved spots are handled consistently since I plan my week around each baby’s schedule.
I’ll also be adding a clear holiday and closure policy so everyone knows those dates and expectations ahead of time. I will most likely be getting a folder put together!
I am still keeping my flexibility on arrival time, pick up times and weekends! Nothing with that is changing! 🥰
I’m sorry for the changes recently. As the business has grown, I’ve been learning what works best and what I need in place to keep everything running smoothly. If anyone has any questions or concerns about the changes, please feel free to come to me directly. I’m always happy to talk through anything.
I also want to genuinely thank all of you for being so understanding, flexible, and willing to work with me as I continue figuring out what works best for my business. I really appreciate the trust you place in me to care for your babies, and I’m so grateful for the families who have supported Kate’s Coastal Care as it has grown 🤍🤗
Thank you so much for understanding and for continuing to support Kate’s Coastal Care!
