✨ The heart behind our multigenerational Micro Mini Bernedoodles ✨

One of the questions we’re often asked is why we choose to pair a Bernedoodle mama with maximum reduced-shedding genetics rather than continuing to breed back to another Poodle on the second cross or traditional F1B/F2 level.

The answer is simple: balance.

While we absolutely love the intelligence, trainability, and reduced-shedding qualities that the Poodle contributes, our goal has never been to create a dog that is mostly Poodle. Our hearts are in preserving the traits that make the Bernese Mountain Dog so special — their gentle nature, loyalty, affectionate temperament, and family-focused personalities.

By thoughtfully selecting a Bernedoodle mama who already carries strong furnishings and reduced-shedding coat genetics, we’re able to maintain those highly desired coat qualities for our most allergy friendly pups - while preserving a higher percentage of Bernese genetics in our multigenerational puppies.

Intentional breeding is about more than just coat type or appearance — it’s about creating balance. Health, temperament, structure, intelligence, and the sweet, steady Bernedoodle personality families fall in love with. 🐾

I know we don’t like AI pictures - BUT - I will preface that every puppy in this image comes from a picture of a dog from our own litters. I wanted to add this on here as a fun topic to circle back to and compare when litter arrives! we are so incredibly excited ✨🐾 this was a very intentional pairing - we know that all pups will have tan points 🙌 sire on this litter also comes from lines on both sides of his lineage with White modifiers - so we expect to see more consistent flashy White blaze/chest markings across the board! right now I expect to see a good portion of tricolors and tri merles, maybe some phantoms - but with some white spotting - and a couple of flashy peach reds as we have no red dilution on this pairing! so this is my prediction- let’s see how accurate my projections are 🫶🏽 I have been calculating and re-calculating the probability on this pairing for months now ✨🐾 will circle back in July! www.peachandpawmetto.com
