These two beautiful kitties need a place to live. They are semi feral and will not make good indoor pets, but would be a great addition to a barn or any safe outdoor living space. They are around one year old, spayed and neutered, and up to date with vaccines. Please help us find them a safe place to land.

FOSTER FAMILIES NEEDED:

Three kittens, about 6-8 weeks old, may require a bit of socializing. Two appear to be siblings.

Mama (gray) and two black and white kittens (about 4 weeks old). Mama is friendly.

The Humane Society pays for all vet care. Foster families provide shelter, love, socialization. A spare bedroom or bathroom is ideal to keep the fosters in while they transition to indoor life.
All rescue organizations are in desperate need of fosters. If you can help, please call/text our volunteer (757) 218-6773

Update: Karma was adopted! Thank you all for sharing and getting her information out there.

Karma is a five year old spayed Border Collie mix. She is friendly, affectionate, and energetic. She is a smart girl and knows basic commands. She is obsessed with playing fetch and will bring back anything you throw. Like most Border Collies, Karma has a few quirks and chases anything that runs. She is friendly with other dogs but does not like to share with them so she will probably do best as a single dog.

Update: Zelda is still looking for her fur-ever home.

Please say hello to - Zelda (Ze-Ze). She is Ghost’s previous house mate. She is a mini-Aussie approximately 5-6yrs old and fully vaccinated and spayed. Similar to Ghost, she is very timid at first and weary with change. It took two days for her to warm up to my husband and I. She is currently being foster with another female dog and multiple cats. She is good with all of them. Similar to Ghost, she has very high energy, loves fetch, and loves walks. We do not recommend that she go to a home with small children.

If you are interested please reach out to [email protected].

UPDATE: Sep 28, 2026. Unfortunately, the kitten with the severe eye infection needs both eyes removed. We are so grateful for our foster families that are willing to take on these special needs kittens.

UPDATE: URGENT!
We have less than two weeks to find a new foster home for the Ivor kittens. They are currently in a temporary foster home where foster mom says two of the kittens are eating on their own and the other two are being fed by a syringe. They have all been to a vet and are on meds for eye infections. See the updated picture.

Isle of Wight County Humane Society pays for all vet care. If you do not have experience administering medications, we will show you how. All you need is a safe place for the kittens to land, such as a spare bedroom or bathroom, and a desire to give these babies a chance.

Please, if you can help, call/text the number below.

URGENT!
Urgent need for a foster with some experience bottle feeding.
We were contacted about a mama cat that was run over in Ivor leaving behind 4 kittens about 4 weeks old. All the kittens seem to have some eye issues, one quite severe. These kittens need vet care, but we can’t help them if they have no foster home.

Please, if you can help, call/text our volunteer at (757) 218-6773.
