What we as Yorkie breeders are saying is there is No such thing as a TEACUP as a breed standard. Yorkies are a Toy group as a whole. Some are tiny such as 2-4 lbs and some get to weighing big like 15+ pounds. But they are not Teacup they are just know as a small yorkie!! Poodles for instance come in Teacup, Toy, Miniature, and Standard sizes all with different weight limits. YORKIES ARE A TOY GROUP OF DOGS!!! No matter if they weigh 2 lbs or 10 pounds. Those of y’all buying from these breeders who charge more by saying they have Micro and Teacup is all just a scam to get more money!!! Go Read the AKC Yorkie Standard for our breed!!!
