🐾 Abigail Is Looking for Her Forever Home 🐾

Abigail is a beautiful, approximately 1½-year-old German Shepherd who is looking for an active, loving home where she can continue to learn and thrive.

I have personally had the pleasure of working with Abigail as one of my training students. She has a nice temperament, is highly trainable and has been a wonderful student. She already knows many commands, is potty trained and crate trained, and has attended several training classes. 

Abigail is affectionate, loyal, playful and enthusiastic. She loves to run and would be a wonderful match for an experienced, active person or family who enjoys training, exercise and spending time with their dog. She is energetic and driven, so she will do best in a home committed to giving her the physical activity, structure and mental stimulation she needs.

Abigail weighs approximately 56 pounds, is spayed and is current on her vaccinations. 

This special girl has so much potential and is looking for her forever family who will appreciate her intelligence, loving personality and eagerness to learn.

🐾 Daily Training Tip from Heart to Heart Dog Training 🐾

A well-behaved dog is not created in one big lesson — it is built through small, consistent moments every day.

Today’s tip: Practice “sit” or “down” before everyday rewards like meals, opening the door, going for a walk, or getting attention. This teaches your dog that calm behavior earns good things.

Keep it short, positive, and consistent. Even 5 minutes a day can make a big difference! ❤️🐶

Fellow Friends and Dog Lovers,🐾

Just a reminder from your trainer: progress with your dog isn’t about perfection—it’s about consistency, patience, and showing up even on the busy days.
Some days your dog will nail every cue. Other days, it might feel like you’re starting over. That’s normal. Learning isn’t linear for you or your dog.
What’s important is every time you practice, you’re building communication, trust, and a stronger bond. That matters more than a perfectly executed sit or recall.

So celebrate the small wins!!
✔️ A quicker response than yesterday
✔️ A moment of focus in a distracting environment
✔️ Choosing you over everything else, even for a second

You’re doing better than you think—and your dog is lucky to have someone committed to helping them succeed.

Yes!! We learn and practice this in all my group classes!! “Go to your place” and “stay”. It’s the golden command😃🐶🌟

Hilarious!! But we can do better! Train a “go to your place and stay “ and then you’ll be able to reduce the theatrics! But this video is definitely a good laugh!
