🍼🎀 You're Invited to a Kitten Shower! 🎀🍼

Our mission centers on middle-aged and senior pets, but when vulnerable animals need us most, we believe every life is worth fighting for.

Yesterday, Wiggles Way Rescue welcomed three tiny, orphaned kittens after the heartbreaking loss of their mama. At just 3–4 days old, these babies should still be snuggled up with mom, but instead they're relying on us and our amazing community to help them survive and thrive.

So, we're throwing a Kitten Shower! 💙

With Amazon Prime Day here, it's the perfect time to help us stock up on all the essentials these little ones need. Formula, bottles, heating pads, blankets, wipes, and other neonatal kitten supplies will help give them the best possible start in life.

Every gift from our Kitten Registry is like bringing a present to a baby shower — except these babies have whiskers. 🐾

🌈 What a day! 🌈

We had so much fun celebrating love, community, and rescue at DC Pride! Thank you to everyone who stopped by to meet the Wiggles Way Rescue team, learn about our mission, grab some goodies, and share in a day full of acceptance, kindness, and wagging tails.

A huge thank you to BarkSuds Washington DC and P3 - Perfectly Paired Pitties Rescue for helping make the day such a success. We loved connecting with fellow animal lovers and sharing the stories of the amazing dogs and cats looking for their second chances.

Missed us? Don’t worry!

Kato Update 🩵

Just a few weeks after surgery, and look at her go!

We are beyond thrilled with Kato’s progress. Watching her move more comfortably, gain confidence, and get back to enjoying life has been incredible. Recovery is a journey, but this sweet girl is proving every day just how resilient she is.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, shared her story, and cheered her on. Your support helped make this surgery possible, and seeing Kato thrive is the best reward.

She still has some healing ahead of her, but she’s already showing us that brighter days are here. Keep those good thoughts coming as she continues her recovery journey!

We need your help to save more cats! Right now, we have many sweet kitties waiting in the shelter who would love the chance to trade a stressful kennel for a calm, loving home.

As a foster, you provide the space and love—we provide everything else! Food, litter, supplies, and medical care are all covered by the rescue. All we need is for you to open your home and your heart.

Sometimes the kindest act of love is also the hardest.

Recently, our beloved Harrvie crossed the Rainbow Bridge surrounded by love. When her health suddenly declined due to complications from a blood clot and suspected cancer, the difficult decision was made to let her go peacefully before she suffered further. Her foster was by her side, making sure she knew she was loved until her very last moment.

Many of you followed Harrvie’s journey with us. This sweet senior girl had a way of wrapping herself around your heart. She was a true velcro cat who never missed an opportunity for affection, companionship, or a cozy spot near her favorite humans.

This is one of the hardest parts of being a senior animal rescue. We open our hearts to animals who deserve love, comfort, and dignity in their golden years, knowing that sometimes our time with them may be far too short. The heartbreak is real, but so is the privilege of ensuring they are cherished, safe, and deeply loved for every day they have left.

We are grateful that Harrvie knew kindness, comfort, and a rescue family who adored her. While we wish we had more time, we take comfort in knowing she did not face her final chapter alone.

Run free, sweet girl. You were loved beyond measure, and you will be missed more than words can say. 🌈🐾

Can anyone help our sweet girl Cinnamon get to and from her appointment on June 17? We’re looking for a volunteer driver for an Annapolis ➡️ DC ➡️ Annapolis trip.

At Wiggles Way Rescue, we are lucky to know some truly incredible best friends who are still waiting for their people.
