BE AWARE!!!! Its been an absolutely brutal couple weeks lately! I've spoken with multiple vets and fellow colleagues and we are all seeing the same things.
If your horse is suddenly tender footed or tentative about walking over harder surfaces that they weren't before, less willing to go forward under saddle, not turning the same, or you see bruising in white feet...these are all early warning signs of sugar sensitivity/laminitis!!! Your horse doesn't have to be obese to be sugar sensitive, though obesity plays a huge factor.
