Get your rabies boosters!! Very affordable

The Nancy J. Brua Animal Care Center will be selling rabies clinic vouchers tomorrow, Sept. 3, (on a first-come, first-served basis) for a clinic on Sept. 12. Vouchers include rabies vaccine, an exam, and a microchip if needed. The cost for a voucher is $20 and there is a limit of two per household. The vouchers can be used for dogs or cats.

🦴ADOPT GILLIGAN 🦴

This handsome guy has been settling into his foster home, and the more we get to know him, the more there is to love.

Gilligan is a roughly 1 year old, 50 pound, Husky mix with the prettiest mismatched eyes. One is blue and one is brown. He can be a little cautious at first, but underneath that initial shyness is an incredibly sweet, playful guy who really enjoys being part of the family.

He’s been great with the other dogs in his foster home and loves having friends to run, wrestle, and play with.
He loves toys, treats, attention from his people and snuggling up for a movie. He’s still a young guy with plenty of goofy energy, but once he’s gotten his playtime in, Gilligan is ALWAYS ready for a couch snooze.

And this handsome face comes with some pretty great house manners too! Gilligan is fully potty trained, sleeps peacefully in his crate all night, walks well on a leash, knows “sit,” and comes when called. He is eager to please and has been such an easy guy to enjoy having around.

One important thing for Gilligan’s future family to know, this athletic boy can JUMP! He has shown that he’s capable of clearing a 4-foot fence when he wants to, so his future family will need to keep that in mind when it comes to a secure yard and outdoor time.

Gilligan is ready for someone to give him the security, love, playtime, and couch space he deserves.
