Good morning, everyone!

As September begins to wind down, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to all of my wonderful new and returning clients. Thank you for continuing to trust Happy Wags with the care of your precious fur babies!

One of the sweetest parts of running Happy Wags is seeing how excited my furry clients are when they arrive. Hearing that they recognize my name, perk up when they see my house, or can’t wait to get to the door makes my heart so happy. 🐾❤️

I love every one of my fur clients, and it means so much to know they feel comfortable and happy here. To all the pet parents who share those little moments with me: thank you. They make my day!

🍂 Happy September from Happy Wags! 🐾

We have officially entered the “-ber” months, and October is already beginning to fill up! I’m currently accepting reservations for both pet boarding and pet-sitting services.

If you already know your upcoming travel dates, please contact me as soon as possible so I can check availability and reserve your pet’s spot.

Please note that Happy Wags will be closed October 23–26 while I visit my sisters. I will not be accepting clients during those dates, but I would be happy to assist you the weekend before or after, depending on availability.

I hope you and your families—including your precious fur babies—are enjoying a wonderful and safe holiday together.

Today, I have sweet little Bella with me! She is the cutest little Yorkie and such a sweetheart. As you can see in this adorable photo, she wasn’t a fan of the bright light, so she decided to hide her face—and that’s perfectly okay! She is comfortable, happy, healthy, and doing wonderfully.

Good morning, everyone! I want to take a moment to share some love and appreciation for the wonderful clients and adorable fur babies who have recently become part of the Happy Wags family! 🐶🐱💗

It has been such a joy caring for each and every one of these sweet fur babies. From the cuddles and playtime to their unique and lovable personalities, they have brought so many smiles to Happy Wags! 🐾

A very special thank-you to Miss Elizabeth with Bella; Miss Jenny with Roman and Bumpers; Miss Michelle with Sebastian; and Mrs. Gayle with Molly for trusting me with your precious fur babies. Your support and confidence mean so much to me and to Happy Wags.

🐾 Happy Wags Tip of the Day! 🐾

Always provide your dog with fresh, clean water—especially during warm weather. Wash their water bowl daily to prevent bacteria from building up, and check it throughout the day to ensure it stays full. A hydrated pup is a happy and healthy pup! 💧🐶

September is already filling up—and it’s only the middle of August! 🐾 If you need pet boarding, please send me your dates soon so I can check my availability and reserve your pet’s stay.

Don’t forget that I also offer pet-sitting visits! I can come to your home to care for your pets while you’re away—and yes, I care for cats too! 🐶🐱

🐾☀️ HAPPY WAGS MONDAY TIP! ☀️🐾

Hey, everyone! Happy Monday! 💕🐶

With the extreme summer heat in the Shreveport-Bossier area, it’s very important to keep our fur babies safe when taking them for walks. 🐾❤️

🌡️ Avoid walking your dog during the hottest part of the day. Hot pavement can become uncomfortable or even dangerous for those precious paw pads!

🌅 Try early-morning walks before the temperature climbs, or 🌇 later-evening walks once the sun is lower and the pavement has had time to cool down.

🐾 Quick Paw Tip: Before heading out, place the back of your hand on the pavement for several seconds. If it feels too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for your pup’s paws!

At Happy Wags, I always make sure my fur-baby clients are walked when conditions are safer and more comfortable. Their safety comes first! 🐶❤️

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and keep those paws protected! 🐾💦
