Happy Sunday Honey!
When I sit with a breed that I haven’t been around a lot, I love to get to know them better.
Did you know that Basset Hounds originated in 6th century France by monks?
They favored them because of their short stature, which made it easier to hunt with them on foot rather than horseback.
They’re great trackers when trained. They’re smart and supper stubborn.
They have the most soulful eyes,and a howl that gets me giggling everytime.
Theyre laid back and easy going. BUT when the zoomies hit… just stand back and be prepared to smile!
Cooper has had me smiling, he will sometimes carry his ear in his mouth….. why is that the cutest thing ever?

I fall in love with every animal at every job. Idk if you can call it a job. It’s really more of an honor to be chosen to stay in your home with your pets. Every home tells a story, every pet has a unique personality. I am OBSESSED with them all.
This baby has played so hard this morning and is taking a little nap, those soft snores let me know, he feels safe and cared for. That, my friends makes my heart melt.
