Check out how big my P. Arizonensis are getting! I have five total and this one came to me from Web Puppy Lodge.

They're a super adorable, medium-sized species (that's not actually found in Arizona) but they have one major flaw; almost all of the females are named Popcorn.

As someone that's worked a lot with corn growing up, I think I'll name her Tassel.

Idk why my description disappeared but this is my female Carolinensis! I'm hoping when she matures that she will have a little bit of extra red on her. Based on her parents, she should!

I need to get these pictures of this male sub-adult P. Carolinensis to you ASAP, because as soon as he matures he's going to look completely different. Carolinensis are sexually dimorphic, but it's not as obvious before maturity. This guy is clearly a guy because, I mean...look at the palps on him haha. The last two pictures should make it really evident.

One of my females is nearly mature too! Excited to share what she looks like tomorrow. 10/10 abdomen on her btw.

I don't think I've posted about this before, but Peaches has laid a couple of clutches now, the first in early April. Any guesses on why hers is special?

I need a name (Update: Truffle is her new name)! That Regal from the recent Reel just laid her first egg sac. I'm really excited to see how her offspring look because the male I paired her with was a really nice Apalachicola light-phase / "recessive male" with blue chels.

Problem is, she's still labeled as "Dark Phase 4" and that's not really the best name. If one of you are able to come up with a name I like, I'll hook you up with a completely free juvenile from her once they are ready. She just can't be named Winter, Snom, or Bubblegum because I already have white spiders named that.

About to do some research but does this look okay? First time keeping an amphibian so hope it's not too bad.

It's probably time to start listing some hyllus diardi on MM, right? They are getting pretty big like this i5 (ty WPL) one here from Bagel. Super playful too, they love jumping on my hands and are less reactive to skin than my Regals.

Should I put them up tonight?

Finally got my dream isopods from Huff & Puffs and...wow. Not only are they better looking than I expected but also they're HUGE! So generous to get some of these at this size from a fellow Kansas City-based business.

That's not all I got at the All American Reptile and Plant expo! Can't wait to share all the other goodies over the coming week.
