Meet Slate
Yesterday momma asked everyone to help us choose a name for this little guy & the winner was…
SLATE.
And honestly, I think you guys nailed it.
Slate is one of my six babies & we already have a pretty strong feeling that he may be the biggest puppy in the litter. He’s a boy with some seriously beautiful tan points starting to show on his chest, cheeks & ears.
As for his coat? That one is still a mystery. We’re going to have to wait & see whether this little guy ends up fluffy or smooth, Blue or Isabella!
But his personality? THAT we already know.
Slate is my little GO, GO, GO puppy. He is playful, energetic & constantly on the move. He’s the first one ready to get into something…
Until suddenly…
PLOP.
The batteries run out.
Then this big, heavy little lump melts into my momma’s neck, snuggles up against her & decides that absolutely nothing in the world is more important than being held.
And he’ll stay there.
For a LONG time.
Until momma finally remembers that she actually has things to do, reluctantly puts him back with ME & gets back to work.
Thank you to everyone who helped name him! I absolutely love seeing you all become part of my little family’s story.
Welcome to the world, Slate. I have a feeling you’re going to be one unforgettable little boy.
Slate’s playful, energetic personality already stands out, while his final coat & adult size remain uncertain, making  a side-by-side update as he grows reveal whether he becomes the litter’s biggest fluffy or smooth-coated boy especially meaningful.
