We haven't shared, but we acquired some new residents at the farm. Meet Flounder and Sebastian. They were the only two ducks in the store and a kiddo suckered me into it🫣🤣
One of our sweet neighbor kiddos noticed we had ducks and she made us this sweet art!!!
We hope one day to have a small store front or mobile store where we can display gifts like this!

Life has been so crazy busy and we have slacked on social media! Enjoy these pictures!
Forrest and Fuschia enjoy scratches while I kept those pesky (cows words not mine) goats away from their pellets.
Everyone has hay and fresh water and has had all their minerals and loves today.

It is hard to find a good farm vet and we have been looking for awhile. When emergencies happen and the vet visits and shows the most kindness and compassion ever, you know you struck gold.
Thank you so much to this vet for helping us care for skipper in his final moments and being so compassionate and caring. Getting this card today really brought tears right back, we are so moved by this thoughtfulness.

I put this off, but we need to share some sad news.
Friday night I (ceci) pulled in and noticed Skipper laying weird on the ground. I went in and got treats and went back out to see what was going on.
Skipper was unable to use his front half of his body to get himself up.
I immediately texted Lisa and she came out.
I thought it was colick at first so we used a hammock to get him standing and he started walking a bit then fell.
We did this again and he stayed up for quite awhile making me really believe it was colick.
We ran to town and got some various meds to try to relieve him while trying to contact any vet to help.
We were not able to get one until the next morning, but I did talk to one on the phone who also believed it to be colick but thought the deal with his front legs was weird.
We got a vet to come out the next morning and they were amazing. They took blood and gave meds and determined this was an incredibly fast onset of neurological symptoms that were continuing to worsen and the best thing for our sweet boy would be to humanely euthanize him as there were no signs of recovery even after hours of medicines.
We were able to sit with our sweet boy and tell him how much joy he brought us and how much we loved him. I fed him his favorite treats and watched his eyes while holding him the entire time as he left our world and crossed that rainbow bridge.

They're doing pretty well on leashes already too! Love these babies.
