With Christmas around the corner I’ve had quite a few pet tag orders come through Miller Station and from customers I’ve had for several years.
Today I packaged and completed an order for two pet tags. This order came through Regan Sexton at Miller Station and she was a first time customer for EDC. As I completed the thank you note, I started thinking of what kind of decal I wanted to add to the order. I looked through all the pet related decals I had and one particular decal really stood out. I felt cautious about putting it in the bag. I always add a “happy” to each custom order but I often times worry it may not be for them. For whatever reason, I felt I’d made a good decision and closed the order.
After I delivered the order this afternoon, and as I was leaving, I saw the customer leaving the store with my packaged bag. I ask her as she walked away if she liked the pet tags. She said she loved them and the decal was particularly special and she really appreciate it. She explained the one of the two pet tags was for a pup that had passed away a few weekends ago. She said they planned to add the tag to his collar, as they had kept it after he passed.
This made me feel extra fuzzy inside. I love the love others have for their pets. I also understand how hard it is to loose them. Most of all, I’m glad the decal made her feel good. That’s what it’s really all about. The little things.
Merry Christmas to all of you and to all that you hold dear. May your Christmas give you the extra fuzzies inside and be filled with love ❤️🎄🐾
