JD (LR Huck/6N Fletch) We know he can handle mama cows, the question is does he also have finesse? Here we shoot for several good characteristics, not just bite. I want to breed JD to a similar S***t bred female to continue to recreate the same dogs every year. JD is one of my Futurity dogs with 5 months of training until the Futurity. He is owned by my friend Brent LaPierre who has stuck with me for years to train dogs. JD is 1 and him and Brent are going to move a lot of cattle in his life!

Bell is a two year-old black smooth coated female that Colter Klemm of Klemm Performance Horses is proud to make available on Apex. Bell was started and trained by Lincoln Rogers from Rogers Ranch Gelbvieh and Stockdogs and has been working for Colter ever since. Bell has a great amount of trainability while also offering a perfect gritty heel bite with a sufficient head bite as well. Bell will work for any handler and is a pleasure to control due to her will to listen for commands while working hard. Lincoln believes Bell is as broke of a two year-old as is available and proved her talent by winning round one of the cow dog Futurity in 2025. Colter has a young gritty litter of pups out of bell to replace her and is proud to offer her in this Apex sale.

The young trainees. Thank you for sending me such a tough group of cattle moving machines! They have got 13 inches of rain in the last 2 days and are sliding around in it. When you pick them up, you will not want them riding shotgun.

Throwback to The PokerChip. Sire to LR Huck, grand sire to some of the dogs I’m using today. Back before I was obsessed with clean flanks, there was chip, turn him loose and move cattle and have fun. Thank goodness I didn’t listen to trainers who told me not to breed S***t to him.

Bell is available in the June Apex Ranch Legends Stockdog Sale. Owned by Colter Klemm and trained at Rogers Ranch Gelbvieh and Stockdogs. Colter is proud to offer this sharp female! I got her out of his car and took this video and I haven’t seen her in 6 months, easy as can be. I will be using Bell and getting good videos of ranch work. Keep an eye on this broke young female!
