He grew up in a log cabin in Coupeville, adopted by Don at 1yrs old. He had acres to run around but always stayed by Dons side. We started pet sitting for him when he was 5yrs old, over 10 years ago. We only heard him bark twice in 10 years, both times when he saw a raccoon outside all the while shivering from fright ☺️We had moved to the Island and when Don passed, we knew we wanted to be the next ones to cherish this good boy. He was by our sides for almost 5 more years, taking him on new adventures, we loved him dearly. Emmett the country dog always had a smile and always wanted a hug or to hug you. He would come up to you and place his forehead on your legs for you to crouch down and give a hug. He is now up in heaven with Don, we vowed to smile and hug more as a way to honor our old boy. He would have been 16 in a few months. 🤎🤎
