As dog walkers, it’s important to protect our income when we schedule recurring walks. When clients cancel a lot, it can tremendously impact our income. There are many different types of cancellation policies to choose from, and it’s completely okay to make adaptations for certain clients depending on their situation!

It’s not “should I have a cancellation policy?” It’s “what type of cancellation policy should I have?” in an era where we’re all protecting our resources, it’s vital to protect your income as a dog walker while also saving the spots of recurring clients.

For those noise sensitive pup’s that are still recovering from 4th of July fireworks, here is the blue angel’s schedule this weekend. For today they unfortunately started 30 minutes early, so we’d recommend giving a 30 minute buffer before a demo begins.

I personally loathe in-city fireworks and plane shows over cities, and I’m happy to die on this hill. They’re fascinating to watch, but it’s not worth the fear it induces on all the animals in the city, along with disabled folks.
