Meet Sugar – As Sweet As Her Name! 🍬 Angel Paws Advocates
DOB: 8/15/25
Sugar and her sister were found tied to a truck in Gilmer—scared, confused, and unsure what the world had in store for them. When they first came into rescue, they were shy and quiet. But with a loving foster home, caring humans, and a pack of friendly dogs to show them the ropes, Sugar’s true personality has blossomed.
And just like her name… Sugar is incredibly sweet.
She absolutely adores people, loves kiddos, and has a special fondness for her stuffed toys. If there’s a squeaky toy to toss, tug, or carry around proudly, Sugar is all in! She’s playful, affectionate, and happiest when she’s close to her humans for cuddles and attention.
Sugar has a gentle, loving heart and is ready to bring warmth, fun, and plenty of snuggles to a lucky family.

Hi Friends ! We are looking for a foster or Forever Home for our sweet Theo 💙 Who has been in rescue for over a year. This sweet guy has gone through some pretty serious trauma before he was dragged into the shelter by a catch pole 2 summers ago. 😭💔 When we first met Theo, he came into he shelter with a mangled face and was so terrfied he had to be wheeled out in a laundry bin. 😭 Since then, he has been staying with a foster in TX, but Theo needs a much less active home to truly decompress. While we are so grateful for our foster who has cared for him, Theo really needs a quieter space to continue his recovery. Theo is genuinely sweet, but very shy and needs time to warm up. He is a Livestock guardian dog after all. We are looking for a low energy, quiet home, with no other dogs, or a low energy female. Theo can be playful, but it’s a lazy play, and we think another dog with this calm personality would be a best fit. Please no small children or loud noises.
