Our sweet pancake has laid 22 eggs over the whole of today. That means she’s laid a total of 26! She’s resting in her food bowl for now. Hopefully she’s almost done. Since all of these eggs are infertile we’ll be giving them to Bellamy as a treat!

SURPRISE! Turns out that Pancake is actually a female! 🤣 Pancake was a surrender to us last summer. We were told she was a 2 yr old Male. Yesterday morning we noticed a single infertile egg and this morning she has laid 2 more! We will probably begin looking for a suitable male to join our family for a future breeding project, so keep an eye out for updates about it!
