*Olaf & Sven*
12 & 16 year old team of light red roan Belgian geldings for sale.
They are a shorter and stout team built more like the old style draft horses - they go about 16.2/16.3hh. We’ve owned them since 2021 where they worked for 3 years in Acadia National Park, they had a year off and worked last summer doing hands on demonstrations and wagon rides for the public. They are for sale as a team and to no fault of their own - I would keep them forever if I could. They would make a great pleasure team or to do some small farm work.

Please message for more info/details and share with anyone you know who may be interested.

Well I’m 2 weeks late on posting anything from our Autumn at the Barn event we had on the 11th…

THANK YOU to everyone who came out to spend some time with us! It was so nice seeing all of the new and familiar faces getting to spend some time with the horses, enjoy some fall treats and paint pumpkins. What a perfect fall day for it!

Of course we forgot to get any more pictures except these we took before the start of it 🤦🏼‍♀️. If you attended and have any pics of you/your kiddos in the “Photo Booth” or with their coloring or pumpkins or the horses we would LOVE to see them! 🧡🍁🐴

(P.S. they’re not really ponies we just call them that 😉)

Email us at [email protected] or message here if you know for sure you’re coming!

Wow!

I still don’t really have words for the turnout we had for the Open Barn Night last night (Wednesday). We knew there would be a fair amount of interest but I guess we didn’t realize exactly how much - we figure there were at least 130 people here throughout the night.

Thank you to all of those who came and waited a long time for a wagon ride. Also thank you to those of you who may not have had the ability to wait and didn’t get to go for a ride! I’m really sorry we were overwhelmed by the amount of people and didn’t get to everyone between losing daylight and the horses needing a break. There were a couple of groups of 2 people who I know had been waiting and didn’t get to go on - if you are reading this and it was you please message me here.

We learned a lot and will have a lot of knowledge on how to make the next event better and more efficient. We definitely want to also be able to bring more horses out in the barn to show but will have to figure out a way to do smaller groups or different time slots.

Thank you all again so much and we hope to see you soon! ❤️🐴

Also if you were there and got any good pictures we’d love to see them! Either comment them or send them as we didn’t really get a chance to take too many 😊

Everybody wants to meet Duke - he’s a bit of a local legend and likes it that way. He’s an extraordinary specimen of a Draft horse and fully knows it - don’t tell him he’s an old man 👀

Want to come meet the big horses? Go for a wagon ride? Do an hour session learning about them and watching behind the scenes? Or just want some one on one time with them? We can’t do any riding but we can make your other horse dreams come true - come meet the boys!
