Say Hello to Rumour who is almost a year old, Merlin who ive known a few years. Then the cat Luna!! We can"t forget about the fish!
At the end of July I got to spend a little over a week with them! It took Rumour a little time to settle in. However when she did oh my! She is such a smart,silly little girl that kept me on my toes. She loved to steal my socks, any clothing she could get her paws on and especially my shoes! If it was quiet I knew she was up to something!
She did love sleeping with me at night and waking me up in the morning. I nick named her Tigger because she was always bouncing!
Merlin as always followed me around. Was my protector. He would sit on the swing with me in the morning. I would read a book,have my coffee while watching the fish. Rumour would run off some energy then lay by us. Some mornings I got to watch the butterflies,dragonflies&birds. The fish often would beg for more food.
There were many mornings I did not mind waking up at 5 and just enjoying our time. By the time we went in around 630 Luna was up and it was her time for cuddles. She demanded them at night and then in the morning. I have a special bond all 3 of these sweet babies.
To the point where I had just left the house. Was looking at the radar and got home. Took lobo out and got a funny feeling. My sister was staying with me to help. With in minutes I decided to leave and to back to the puos. I was there only a few minutes when the storms got bad. I woke my sister up and told her a tornado warning was coming. That's when the sirens started going off. She panicked because she could not find Lobo. I explained how he was trained to crate when that happened. Which is where he was.
I got everyone downstairs. Poor Merlin was freaked out. Rumour had no idea what was going on and Luna was just happy to go to the basement. I ended up staying for hours till it was all over and I knew everyone was safe. Now this was before the drencho we had on the 11th. Just as scary.
We made it through and im thankful I didn't live far away and am a storm spotter. When our time was done I was sad. However I know we will have plenty of adventures coming up. Here is a photo dump. Then I'll be adding videos!
