As you can see Tristan is very comfortable in his foster home. He gets along with older children/young adults, doesnt mind loud video game sessions at 2 am, he gets along with a very low key female cat who is recovering from surgery and he likes attention.

So why haven’t you applied for him yet? This 3 year old guy deserves to be more then a foster he deserves to be called someone’s one and only. While we love him and surely will miss him, we know theres a great home waiting out there. It could be yours!

This is rescue. It’s not about who gets there first it’s not about who takes the most. It’s not about pointing fingers at organizations that you may or may not like, it’s about when needed the most being able to make a difference.

Because of the efforts of local law-enforcement, the ACO and multiple rescue and shelter personnel in a coordinated effort to take care of an emergency situation, this mom had a safe place to deliver her kittens and this other mother was able to be reunited with hers so that she could nurture them.

Thank you to Ayres Memorial Animal Shelter James A. Brennan Memorial Humane Society for taking some of the cats that were living in deplorable conditions. Thank you to the volunteers at Amsterdam Kitten Adoptions for taking in and bottle feeding the 2 week old kittens until they could be reunited with mom. Thank you to Voice for the Voiceless for being on standby with fosters if we couldn’t place them all.

Thank you to our vets for allowing us to board them temporarily and for providing medical and spay/neuter services on short notice. And thank you to all the fosters volunteers who transported and took in these wonderful animals who didn’t ask for any of this.

Indica update!

She’s healing fine getting back to her playful self and we cannot wait to get the collar off of her! She still has to go back fir stitches removal and a couple of follow up appointments to see how the healing and range of motion progresses but were very hopeful about it and thankful to dr’s for all the care given. We are so thankful to all of you that have donated so far for her care.

We are still short on her overall bill which unfortunately effects all of the other cats we take in who need help and you can still contribute at the link below.

We just received an update from our wonderful vet taking care of Indica.

“Just an update for Indica! She is doing well after surgery and she is resting comfortably. Hope you have a great night! “

We can go get her after 4pm and they said her prognosis is good that she will be able to live pain free.

Indica’s next Surgery is scheduled for tomorrow but we still haven’t raised enough to cover her procedure.

This is Indica’s story so far.

She came to Kitten Angels at the end of November 2025 very sick needing antibiotics sub q fluids and a short stay at our vets office. In observing her they noticed problems with the way she walked. Upon radiology done the diagnosis was she had very serious Bilateral Luxating Patella in both her back left and right legs. This ultimately can be very painful to any cat but to young kittens who thrive on running around its a constant issue with the knee slipping out. We were referred to a board certified surgeon to assess when and how to do the surgery.

So far she had her worst leg (the right one) done and is now preparing for the second. The gains already for having just the one done are completely evident in her personality and mobility.

This next procedure will insure she doesn’t have to worry about going through that pain and mobility loss again.

Kitten Angels takes on these cases especially with kittens, never knowing if we can raise the money or not but just trying to do whats best for them. Its made so much of a difference for her so wont you help get her there?
