Chicagoland Dog Rescue Chicagoland Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) Not-for-Profit Rescue Organization Our mission is to rescue "Any breed, Any size, Any age, Any reason."

Chicagoland Dog Rescue (CDR) is a 501(c)(3) shelter-less dog rescue 100% run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are in foster homes, but we do board some dogs we take in at vets when necessary.

Hey everyone! We have another fun filled event happening at Durty Nellies on June 6th. We will be taking over the second floor and their amazing deck! There will be drinks, dogs, raffle baskets, 50/50 split the pot, and trivia. PLEASE SHARE THIS POST WITH ALL YOUR DOG LOVING FRIENDS AND FAMILY❤️

We had an absolute blast last spring and this event is shaping up to be even more fun. Wear your Hawaiian shirt, rock those cool shades, and plan on kicking back and relaxing with the dogs!

Join us our fundraising pawty at Durty Nellie's for drinks, trivia with Chicago Trivia Guys, adoptable dogs, raffles, and more-supporting pups in need!

Saturday, June 6
1:30pm to 4:30pm

Durty Nellies
180 N Smith St., Palatine, IL

Drink packages:
$75 premium open bar (includes beer, wine and spirits, plus trivia, sticker and two raffle tickets)
$25 cash bar (includes trivia, sticker, and two raffle tickets)

Pawty agenda:
1:30pm check-in, grab a drink, check out the raffles, and meet our adoptable dogs
2:00pm test your teams knowledge with Chicago Trivia Guys, play bags or socialize
3:30pm raffle winners announcements

Dress code:
Island attire is encouraged – think Hawaiian shirts, sundresses, and beachy vibes!

Hi, my name is Justice! I’m a sweet, smart little pup looking for my forever family. I sleep peacefully through the night in my crate, so you don’t have to worry about me sneaking around while you’re asleep. I absolutely love people and get along wonderfully with other dogs—I even enjoy going on walks with my resident dog buddies. Cats? I’m respectful. I’m also a quick learner—I already know how to give paw, and I’m excited to keep learning new tricks. When I’m not busy showing off my smarts or going for walks, you’ll find me snuggled up close because I’m a total cuddler at heart.

Meet your two new best friends, Spuds and Winnie! 🐶

🐾 Seniors (Approximately 10 Years Old)
🐾 Female and Male

Hello! We’re Spuds and Winnie, a bonded duo looking for our furever home together. After our beloved owner passed away, Chicagoland Dog Rescue stepped in to give us a soft place to land while we search for the perfect family. We’ve been together for 10 years, but don’t let our age fool you—we still have plenty of pep and lots of love to give!

Spuds here! I’m a happy-go-lucky, yard-loving guy who could spend all day exploring outside (sometimes my foster dad has to convince me to come in!). I have a cute, quiet bark to let you know what I need, walk great on a leash, and still love to run and jump. I’m short-haired, easy to groom, and a big fan of food—so I do best eating in my own space.

And I’m Winnie—or Win for short! I’m very sweet, super cuddly, and will happily curl up in your arms. I also enjoy playing with other dogs and keeping up with the fun. Loud noises can scare me, so a calmer home would be ideal. I do take medication for a heart murmur, but it doesn’t slow me down one bit.

Together, we’re the perfect mix of fun, companionship, and unconditional love. 💛

Hi, I’m Betsy! I’m the sweetest and prettiest girl, at least that’s what everyone who has met me says! I am currently living with my foster Mom and three resident pups. I get along great with them and love having canine pals, too! Looking for a puppy that is good with kids? I am good with kids and very loyal to my people. I sleep through the night, am great in the car, and such a cuddle bug. All amazing things to have when you are a young pup! I learned the commands ‘sit’ and ‘no’ in a day, so I’m pretty smart too. I'm still working on the potty training but I do great on the potty pad. I can’t wait to show off my skills and to meet you!
