💬 Owner's Message: "Please help! Bruno has escaped our yard Sunday September 6th around 6pm. We live on corner of Debra and Sand in Harbor Creek subdivision (off of Quarterman Drive) on Wilmington Island.

Please keep an eye out. He has a red collar. He is chipped. He is food driven so if you have eyes on him he will come if he thinks you have food or treats. He also loves car rides and will hop in the car!

We pray we get him back safe and sound as he is such a beloved member of our family. Just want my goofy baby back home ❤️

💬 Owner's Message: "Lost Dog – THUNDER – Bluffton, SC (Myrtle Island Circle) Alljoy Area
Our dog Thunder is missing. He is a black‑and‑tan coonhound mix, about 60 lbs, and was last seen around 5 PM on Saturday, August 29th at his home 16 Myrtle Island Circle, Bluffton.
Thunder looks like a medium‑sized lab with black and tan markings, long coonhound legs, and shorter ears than a typical hound. He is wearing a red collar with his name and my phone number (843‑683‑4100) and he is microchipped.
We spent nearly five hours searching for him last night and kept checking the front door throughout the night hoping he’d come home.
Thunder is super friendly and does not wander, chase animals long‑distance, or go on “adventures.” He might follow someone walking, but he always knows how to come back home. He doesn’t swim, doesn’t go in the marsh, and doesn’t enjoy the beach.
I’m worried someone may have picked him up thinking he’s a hunting dog because he’s a coonhound mix — but he doesn’t fetch, can’t catch a ball, and despite being fast, he’d make a terrible hunting dog. If someone took him for that purpose and realized he isn’t useful, I’m terrified of what they might do.
I’ve posted on Facebook, Nextdoor, and Lost Paws, and I’m so grateful for everyone who is praying, sharing, and offering help. Thank you.
I also called Beaufort County Animal Services and left a voicemail, since no one answers outside their Monday–Saturday 9–4 hours.
If you see Thunder, please call 843‑683‑4100 immediately.
We just want our sweet boy home."
