Through CARE we try to Create a better life for pets and pet owners by raising Awareness about animals in need, getting people to take more Responsibility for their pets, and helping to Educate them before they take on a new animal. Not only are we a rescue that save animals in need, but we also want to try to prevent

more animals from ending up on the streets or in the shelter through knowledge. By educating people on what goes into taking care of pets, the difference in breeds and how one breed can be a better fit for a certain lifestyle than another, and about how many amazing animals are in the shelters, we hope we can start to lower the number of pets that are killed every day. It is important for people to know how many great animals are euthanized each year because of irresponsible people and bad pet owners, not bad pets. By helping to change one person at a time, we can save one animal at a time.

All, our rescue's website domain is experiencing issues. This is also impacting our ability to send and receive emails from our rescue accounts. We have been working to troubleshoot this for some time and apologize for any inconvenience.

Hi Friends!

Happy to report Neptune is still coneless and showing improvement, but he did have a setback last week. So, his dermatologist has determined at least part of his allergy issue is environmental. This is an ongoing process but slowly we have been getting answers.

While we are SO happy to be finally figuring things out for Neptune and getting him happy and healthy, the bills are a gut punch, especially because overall donations are incredibly low right now.

We know it is hard are there for everyone, but if you could spare $5, $10, anything toward his recent bill totaling $675.04...we'd be so grateful! (This is for his 9/5 visit and medications/prescription food.)

We are still chipping away at Neptune's bill, but we are so happy to report that he is finally feeling better and healing up - you can absolutely see a difference in him. He's been able to be out of his cones some as well!

We have $300 left to raise toward his original bill. If you have $5 to spare we know we can get there!

We haven't even started fundraising for Olive's spay appointment this week and Neptune's follow-up dermatologist appointment this week (both went well, thankfully).

Hi everyone! We still need to raise $1,163.93 toward Neptune's vet bill. We are so grateful to those who donated, but we really need your help to spread the word for our guy. Photos are of his leg lesions that we've been trying to heal and figure out. We finally feel like we're on the right track! (invoices in photos)

In addition to Neptune's bills, we also had our little gray kitten Olive's first vet appointment on 6/8 at McGrath Veterinary which was $143.43 and 7/7 which was $167.30.

We know it's hard out there for folks right now, but we would be so grateful if you could spare $5 today to help us overcome these bills and continue caring for CARE kittos in need!
