Lotus had a LONG day of body part removal and repair… we said goodbye to his boys, baby teeth, and inguinal hernia. His hernia was getting progressively worse, so I’m very thankful they were able to fix it before it became a permanent problem. 💜 now back to the poodle healing house, Lotus and Indy are meeting their new mom this evening. She drove all the way from Florida!!

Why was I just sitting there instead of panicking and RUNNING with him to the front door so we could loudly tell the stranger who had just announced their arrival via the Ring doorbell that we are NOT INTERESTED?!

Terry looks just like Lotus 😍 Lotus has been one of my favorites. He is sooo cuddly and has the cutest little beefcake personality. I’ll miss him when he’s with his new mom!

We had a wave of standards, and now the minis are coming in 🥹 Indy is 11 lbs and will be 2 on 10/31. She’s a calm, quiet girl who hasn’t quite come out of her shell yet, but I bet we learn a lot more about her in the upcoming days. Stay tuned :)

We have great help with the animals when we’re gone and it’s always a very good test of the foster dogs’ adaptability before adoption… but I sure love just being here with these babies :)
