💔🐾 11 YEARS OLD. ADOPTED. AND NOW BACK AT THE SHELTER. 💔

🚨 ORLANDO, FL — SENIOR DOG NEEDS A HOME! 🚨

Meet STARK (A605944), an 11-year-old sweetheart who deserves so much better than spending his golden years in a shelter.

Stark was originally found wandering in the Sawmill subdivision. This poor senior boy was in rough condition, but despite everything, he was described as having the sweetest, calmest old soul. ❤️

He was finally adopted, and for a moment, it seemed like Stark was getting the second chance he deserved.

But just ONE WEEK later, Stark was returned to Orange County Animal Services because he wasn’t feeling well. 💔

Now, at 11 years old, he’s back in the shelter, currently housed in the isolation building.

This breaks my heart. Senior dogs already have such a difficult time finding homes, and Stark deserves a comfortable bed, a loving family, and the medical attention he may need. Not another day wondering what happened to his home.

🐾 A little about Stark:

* 🐶 Approximately 11 years old, 69 lbs
* ❤️ Neutered and heartworm negative
* 🏡 Reportedly housebroken
* 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Good with men, women, and children, according to his previous adopter
* 💤 Calm, laid-back personality
* 🧸 Still shows interest in toys and treats!

Stark doesn’t need a perfect home. He just needs someone willing to love an old dog.

We don’t yet know the extent of his medical needs, but he deserves a chance to be evaluated and cared for somewhere safe.

🙏 PLEASE SHARE STARK! We are hoping to reach a compassionate adopter, foster, or rescue willing to give this sweet senior boy the love and care he deserves.

🚨LUNA IS NOW URGENT🚨
UPDATE: We have received ONE application for Luna. We are screening it and praying it could be a match, but there's definitely no guarantee so additional shares and interest are very needed. 🙏🥰
Sweet Luna has been in our rehoming program for a few months and hasn't had any solid adoption interest. Her owners have exhasuted all efforts to find her a safe place to go, in addition to our rehoming program they have reached out to every local rescue they could find. They now have an appointment in two weeks to surrender her to the shelter. We would love to find an adopter for Luna before that, as a shelter environment would be the worst case scenario for an anxious girl like her.

Luna is 7 years old, around 50 lbs, a petite lab mix girl. She is a sweet but shy girl whose ideal home is calm and quiet. No small kids. No rambunctious other dogs (she might do okay with a very calm, polite other dog). Not a lot of strangers coming and going. Just a quiet, peaceful place - home. She is housebroken and well behaved in the home.

Luna is spayed, current on vaccines and micro chipped. She comes with free professional training support, 30 days of free pet insurance and a free bath and nail trim from our friends at Scenthound. Adoption fee reduced to $50. Located in Orlando, FL. Please reach out if you think you could be her perfect match. 🙏
