When it’s hot for us, it’s even hotter for our dogs.

A few minutes in extreme heat can lead to heatstroke, dehydration, burned paw pads, and other life threatening emergencies. If you wouldn’t walk barefoot on the pavement, your dog shouldn’t either.

💧 Keep fresh water available
🏠 Keep pets indoors during peak heat
🌳 Provide shade and cooling options
🌅 Walk early in the morning or later in the evening
🚗 Never leave a dog in a parked car
