AMAZING AMAZON ANGEL GIFT!
Thank You, Ms Nancy!! An easy wheelie for that sketchy old gate will really reduce my frustration level. And lighting up the coming darkness helps to keep us going later and much more safely. We are truly blessed!

SPINNER HAS SPUN! #68!!!
I forgot, recording the spinner (at least the only way this old woman knows how to do it) requires 2 people, 2 phones! Sooo…the spinner has spoken early! # 68 ! Winner, winner coastal/bermuda dinner. Thank you ALL. I wish everyone could win. The big winners are, of course, the animals and I am so grateful to each of you for helping them. Thank You! #68, reach out at 361.960.9170 so we can get your quilt to you.

MR. POWELL BROWN TO THE RESCUE!
The longhorns are happy…thanks to you quilt wafflers! We’ll spin tomorrow morning but the cows eat tonight. We always need hay…wish we had more! Thank goodness for our quilt artists and for our game players.

THANK YOU AMAZON ANGEL, RALPH!
The days are getting shorter and darkness comes early. Light is a necessity for our long days and lighting our spaces into the nighttime hours is a great gift. Thank you, Ralph!

IF WE BUILD IT, THEY WILL…
Aw, heck, they’ll come whether we build it or not! So we’d better get busy building. This lumber won’t unload or assemble itself…get busy!

HOW WE LOVE OUR MATHIS TRACTOR SUPPLY COMPANY!
I just stopped in at TSC to pick up a few things for this weekend’s building project when our favorite Manager, Katie, called to say they had dog food for us! She didn’t even know I was standing at the checkout counter of her store at that very moment!! We are on the same wavelength, all animal folks. We sure needed this doggie food. Excellent timing, Katie. And THANK YOU, Tractor Supply Company.

FINALLY HOME FROM A LONG DAY OF HUNTING & GATHERING!
A full day of travel to the big city of Corpus Christi to pick up donations, gifts, and bargain purchases for the animals really wears me out! It’s all good - lots of great goodies - but I sure am happy to come through the gate and pull up the driveway with my bounty! More details to come about all of the great stuff…after a shower, a light supper, and a good night’s sleep! Anyone down to help unload tomorrow?? (And much Thanks to Ms Mason for the loaner of the truck and trailer.)

MORE HAY, PLEASE!
When the horses need hay, especially the old, the thin, and the delicate ones, I reach out to Terry. He brings us the softest, cleanest, best coastal hay round bales I’ve ever found. Plus he puts it right where I need it and is a joy to visit with. When his delightful wife comes with him, it’s even better!! Thank you, Halepaska family.

HAPPY, HAPPY ADOPTION DAY!
Great things happened all weekend long! The girlies and a goofy rooster went home with this lovely couple. They’ve adopted from us before and we just know these birds won the great home lottery! Happy life birdies.
