Inspired by my Feather Rishi process, I had long collected the molted feathers of my companion birds. Serendipitously, my feather collection proved acceptable to some of my professors and I began making the artwork that has become my main interest outside of school. I was reminded of the plight of birds. They need us to recognize their rights to fly, to feed, to flourish. Not only are they an inte

grated part of the food chain, they are filled with a dignity conferred on them by the poetry of their flight. I started talking about the cooperation of species, that we need to be mindful. Then I started observing how many species already cooperate. This page is a celebration exploring and restoring that knowledge to we who claim superiority, mankind. Join the community and celebrate with us the joy and beauty found in that cooperative process of fauna helping others, both flora and fauna to thrive.
