Sorry if I offend anyone. I love all the doggies...but go to the shelter!! Don't encourage breeding of "mixed" dogs. The shelter and rescues are full of pure bred and mixed pups. If you do get a dog from a breeder, get them from a breeder who is committed to breeding for preservation of a breed and all the DESIRED characteristics, not the ones who gets 2 random dogs, breeds them and sell the pups as an "easy" way to make money 🤦🏼‍♀️

Studies show that the majority of discolored teeth are non-vital. That's the polite way of saying the tooth is dead. The only treatment for a non-vital tooth is to remove it or have a root canal performed.

Why is that tooth purple? Every tooth has a blood supply and a nerve in the middle of the tooth located in the pulp canal. When the pulp is diseased it is called endodontic disease. Endodontic disease is a painful condition that can lead to abscess around tooth roots, bone infection, or draining tracts. 93% of these teeth are non vital and need root canal therapy or extraction.
