May is Pet Sitter Safety Month, and at Slinky Cat at Home, safety is built into every cat sitting visit across North County San Diego.
For us, "Peace of Mind Kitty Care" means caring not only for your cats, but also for your home, routines, and overall sense of comfort while you're away.
A few ways we help keep everyone safe:
• Every new client begins with a Meet & Greet so we can learn your cat's personality, routine, favorite "safe" spots, and home setup before their kitty staycation begins.
• We carefully follow all feeding, medication, and care instructions exactly as requested. No guessing, ever.
• We double-check doors, gates, and home security at every visit, because cats are clever, curious, and sometimes surprisingly fast.
• We approach each cat calmly and respectfully, especially shy or sensitive kitties, allowing them to set the pace and build trust over time.
• We scan for potential concerns in the environment and communicate proactively if something seems off.
• Our team stays connected throughout the day, and we maintain insurance, professional standards, and ongoing education to support the cats and homes in our care.
Most importantly, we believe safety and trust go hand in paw. It's one of the many reasons families in Carlsbad, Encinitas, Oceanside, San Marcos, and Cardiff choose a professional cat sitter instead of relying on a quick favor from a neighbor or friend.
Thank you for trusting us with your cats, your homes, and your peace of mind. Book your next Cat Sitter with us at slinkycatathome.com
