Prince Harry was rescued with his brother William, 12 years ago from the Redlands shelter. They were deemed so aggressive the shelter was unable to vaccinate, much less chip or any other vetting. Xolo’s bond intensely with their humans but quickly turn feral if displaced. We never knew exactly how old these brothers were as it’s hard to age these dogs because the hairless gene causes tooth loss as well and both boys had already lost most their teeth when we rescued them. Fortunately Harry got to spend the last 12 years loved and adored, making his previous life a distant memory. Yesterday Harry was greeted by so many before him, at the Rainbow Bridge. Our hearts go out to those who loved him all these years and we pray they find peace in knowing what a beautiful life they gave him. We wish all dogs got to experience this much love in a lifetime and we will forever be grateful to those that open their hearts to a rescue dog.
