🐾🎃Howl-O-Ween Hounds Mega Pet™️ Adoption Event🎃🐾 at Grossmont Center La Mesa on October 10th from 11am to 3pm would like you to meet Adoptable Pearl from Homebound Hounds!


Pearl's Story

Pearl is an 11 month old mixed breed puppy who has already overcome more than most dogs her age. She came from a large hoarding case near Palmdale and was at risk of euthanasia simply because she hadn't been given the opportunity to learn that people can be safe.

Today, Pearl is making steady progress and is looking for a patient family willing to continue helping her build confidence. She is wonderful with other dogs and would thrive in a home that can move at her speed.

At about 30 pounds, Pearl is pretty much full-grown. She is still learning what it means to be a beloved family pet and can be shy when meeting new people, but each day she grows a little braver.

Pearl doesn't need a perfect home; she needs an understanding one. A family committed to positive reinforcement, routine, and allowing her to move at her own pace will be rewarded with the joy of watching her blossom into the dog she was always meant to be.

🐾🎃Howl-O-Ween Hounds Mega Pet™️ Adoption Event🎃🐾 at Grossmont Center La Mesa on October 10th from 11am to 3pm would like you to meet Adoptable Andy from Furballs FURever Rescue !


Meet 5 Month Old Andy 🖤

Andy is a handsome grey tabby who knows exactly what he wants, and it’s affection on his own terms! He’s not shy at all, he just prefers to come to you rather than be picked up or grabbed. Call him over and he’ll flop right at your feet, belly exposed, or hop straight into your lap for cuddles.

It just takes him a minute to trust that you’re not going to scoop him up, but once he decides you’re safe, he’s all in. In his foster home, he’s always first in line for a lap and loves snuggling up on the couch. He’s always on the lookout for his hooman around the house and just wants to be near his people, making him the best work-from-home buddy. He gets along great with other cats, enjoys playing with the resident dog’s tail, and never turns down a treat!

I know these posts are hard to see, and we are sorry to put another heartbreaking face in front of you. But this shy, sweet girl deserves a chance 💔

She’s good with people, was dog tested and did great — she’s just shy and unsure right now.
