Yesterday, our family suffered an immeasurable loss. We lost a huge piece of our hearts.
Our beautiful Rogue... our big baby, our queen, our alpha, Ronin and River's Momma, our guardian, our protector.
Nine months ago, she was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor and given only three to six months to live. But that was Rogue. She refused to let a diagnosis define her. Instead, she gave us nine extraordinary months of love, laughter, and priceless memories. She celebrated every holiday with us, every birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and three more family trips—including our beautiful Savannah, a place we all loved together. After the three seizures that led to her diagnosis, she never had another. Even at her sickest, her only concern was making sure we were okay.
She also stayed with us long enough to see and celebrate the love that inspired RRR Bully Nation™ reach families worldwide. For that, I will be forever grateful.
People admired Rogue for her incredible presence. At nearly 150 pounds in her prime, she was jet black, majestic, powerful, and breathtakingly beautiful, turning heads wherever she went. But that wasn't what made her extraordinary. She wasn't beautiful because of her size or her strength. She was beautiful because her heart radiated through everything she did. Her gentleness, loyalty, and unconditional love made her unforgettable.
Today, our pack is smaller. The silence in our home is overwhelming, unlike anything we've ever known. Ronin and River are deeply mourning the loss of their Momma and the queen of their pack... we are all mourning the loss of our big baby.
Rogue, your legacy lives on and will forever live in our hearts, in our home, in Ronin and River, and in every act of love and loyalty that inspired RRR Bully Nation™. You were never just part of our story. You, our beautiful big baby, are part of who we are... and always will be.
Run free and fly high, our beautiful girl. You are forever loved. You will be forever missed. You will be forever in our hearts. We love you more than words could ever express, and we always will.
