I've been thinking about how a small routine change can calm anxious pets during storms.

Simple steps like steady walks and comfort items seem to help them settle. I have also discovered music can help. If you need help finding some soothing music, try YouTube and search for "Music for Dogs." Lots of choices. One quick warning: if you have a hunting breed, be careful not to choose a channel of forrest senes with squirrels or rabbits.

At an age when many people my age are retiring, I'm still out there petsitting, caring for other people's pets everyday!
