Sorry I've not been too responsive over the past week. As most of you that have spoken to me know, I love to gush about my sweet boy, Carl. Sadly, Carl has become incredible sick due to an inoperable tumor, and this week I'll be having to say goodbye to him 💔. Losing a rat is never easy, especially since their lives are so short, but you always hope that they will pass peacefully in their sleep due to old age. Having to make the call to put them to sleep so that they don't suffer, and spending those final days giving them comfort and love while feeling dread and guilt over the inevitable makes it so much harder. He is my best buddy and I am so thankful every day that I *knew* he was meant to come home with me. Fueled by his constant desire for peanuts, cheerios, and snuggles, he is the goofiest and most loving companion I could have ever asked for 🖤

Online Rat Show with Prizes!
All Rats welcome - Pet owners and Breeders

We are trying to find out if anyone would be interested in showing their rats for fun. Shows would be once monthly with 3 - 6 classes. There would be some just-for-fun classes along with regular classes.

Entry fees would be $3 per class to help with prizes, ribbons & postage. Each class will award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.

Along with an entry form, you would need to submit photos & or videos for the judges. Each rat would need its own entry form.

If enough people show interest, our first show would be in August.

Fun classes would be decided by popular vote, and regular classes would be decided by the current month's team of Judges.

These shows are just for fun; they are not affiliated with any group/club or association.

✨NEW HOME FOUND - THANK YOU!! ✨

Sadly, one of my adopters has just found out they need to relocate overseas and cannot take their sweet boys with them, as much as they wish they could 🥺. If anybody is looking to add some lovely older boys to their mischief, please reach out to me and I can connect you with them!

These boys are named Remy (Russian Blue hooded, DOB 10/28/24), Toast (Cinnamon hooded, DOB 10/28/2024), Beans (Blaze, DOB 11/13/2024) and Poe (Pearl, DOB 11/10/2024). Remy is sweet but a little shy, Poe is a total snuggle bug, and both Beans & Toast are super playful and sweet! They would come with their Critter Nation and all their supplies, just reach out for more information!

This sweet little guy will be leaving me soon and I'll be sad to see him go, but at least I'll get to see him often! A neighbor rescued a young boy with an injured leg so I helped with rehabilitating him, and now that little one needs a buddy to join him! I normally don't like to let babies go out as young as this boy (about to be 6 weeks), but I'll be able to check in on him and make sure he's thriving, and I'm sure he will do amazingly as he's already so social, playful and confident! I'm just glad the rescued boy will finally have a companion, as companionship is SUPER important for rats in developing their social skills, keeping up on their grooming, and maintaining a sense of comfort and security!

I still get a lot of inquiries about these two boys, so wanted to give an update that they were adopted back in January and have been doing amazing in their new home! 😊
I still have sweet boys available, but do not have any other hairless boys available just yet!

(If anybody comes across any accounts besides this one posting their older picture, please report it! Unfortunately, multiple people have been scammed out of hundreds of dollars using their picture 😩).

Gordon, our oldest boy, brother to my late Gene, father to the majority of my adopted Mink boys, and grandpa/great grandpa to many of my Pearl boys (including my Pete), had his final snuggle yesterday 😢. Last week I had commented on how active and spry he was for such an elderly gentleman, but on Sunday night he unexpectedly went into renal failure and nothing could be done. He has been with us the longest, always being first to get in his good morning kisses. I'll miss him so much, and I'm so grateful for all the lovely gifts he helped to create for me and many of my adopters 🤍

Wesley here is a kleptomaniac, so my tactic to stop him from stealing my things and hiding them in his den or litter tray is to provide torn paper for him to focus on instead! It works great (until he's run out of paper 🥴)!

Life just gets busier and busier, but I wanted to get these sweet boys posted up! They're all available, and all are super social and sweet 🥰
