You may have been following Hercules/Tippy’s story. He was rescued from filth after being neglected for years with overgrown and deformed hooves. He has contracted tendons on all 4 legs and a bone infection in his 2 front hooves. He is at Texas A&M and now needs surgery on all 4 tendons and debriedment of his coffin bones. Please consider donating to our 501c3 non-profit . All donations go to Tippy and we can use all the help we can get❤️

Tippy is the sweetest, most loving 2-3 year old horse rescued … Christie Mannino needs your support for Help Tippy live a pain free life- Tippy’s Surgery Fund

We know you have a lot of rescues asking for donations on GIVING TUESDAY, but let me tell you about us.

The Misfit Farm is a 501c3 non-profit farm animal rescue and sanctuary in the Texas hill country. We are home to over 200 rescued animals. We take in the animals nobody else wants, but we do❤️. We are home to blind, three legged, paralyzed, beautifully deformed, abandoned, stray, formally unwanted, abused and neglected animals. We also help many who have been loved but for whatever reason found themselves needing a new home. We have eased the mind of countless people and families who know their babies will have a safe life here with us.

It takes over $2000 a week just to feed our 200+ animals. We have spent over $20,000 this year on vet bills. We have built new pens to expand our rescue efforts and have added new structures to keep all our animals safe, dry and warm.

Please consider a tax deductible donation to my rescue, The Misfit Farm. Your donations enable us to care for all of them and continue helping more animals in need.

We are grateful for any donation and as always, every single penny goes to benefit the animals. ❤️

Does anybody want to know what all they do at San Antonio ACS ?

- they let a cat sit there for over 2 months with a fractured pelvis. They amputate a leg but don’t bother to get x rays and leave him in pain with a fractured pelvis that has since healed incorrectly causing permanent bowel and bladder issues. He was also full of tapeworm for over 2 months and was malnourished. His bones are sticking out. He’s also positive for aids and the shelter failed to check for feline aids or leukemia

Now cat #2 came in with a broken leg. Did she have an X-ray? No Did she get adequate care? No She sat there for days with broken leg that actually healed backwards. She was taken to my vet where she actually had appropriate treatment and an amputation.

They are two of hundreds, if not thousands. This is the reality of San Antonio ACS
