Today marks 5 years for Aggie as part of our sanctuary herd - she started out a lot more grey too! Now she’s white with some speckles 😆💓 She is loved by us, and all of her herd mates. Aggie is definitely a boss lady around here, but has gotten sweeter as the years pass - she is also very treat motivated 😜

Here’s to many more more years with Aggie girl 🥳

Wilbur update 😊

From April 27th (top) until today (bottom). He still needs some weight but I’m super happy with the progress we’ve been making. He is a SLOW eater, actually im pretty sure a snail eats faster then Wilbur. But thats okay we still love him 🤪

His diet consist of free choice coastal, several flakes of alfalfa throughout the day, and a senior feed. I also found out Wilbur does NOT like his food to be wet, so I let him eat the 1/2 inch senior cubes…. Which stresses me out but at least he’s a slow eater 🤷‍♀️

Wilbur progress, the bottom picture was taken today. In 5 days Wilbur will have been here at the rescue for a full 30 days. We still have a long road ahead, but he’s making great progress 💙 I’m excited to see what he will look like in another month.

We love the rain cause the rain makes the grass grow! We don’t always get to see a lot of green grass here in Texas but we sure love it when we have it 🌱🌧️✨
