Running the farmstand kept me here.

Now that we are taking a pause from The Farmstand it's a good time for me to reset my heart and mind.

You can find me writing out thoughts and things over on Substack - Often Wandering. Always Found.

It's a new space and I'm still working out the kinks but I hope you'll come find me.

Just a pause. Nothing permanent.

We made the decision to pause the farmstand until sometime next Spring.

Life lately has been quite full. And I've been feeling spread a little too thin.

Anxiety has been present in my gut which tells me I'm doing too much and trying too hard..

The Farmstand has been such a blessing to our family and has not come without its challenges.

We are (working on) trusting in God and His provision.

We will still be around. Living life and stewarding these little boys God has given us.

I'm sure I'll still post silly things.

I'm looking forward to resting in this way in the coming months.

Thank you to every single one of you who has purchased from us, prayed for us, and been part of the journey!

We think she's the real star of the show.

This loaf of bread is made from hard red wheat berries that we mill in our home.
It's a nutrient dense loaf with such a rich flavor. We're fans.

When we started selling our baked goods this and cookies were the only things we offered. The cookies we make are also made with fresh milled flour.

It's true - things are looking a little different over here.

We have transitioned from fully stocking the farmstand each weekend to offering baked goods as preorders only.

We have been working hard over the last year and desire to continue this little venture. We feel this is how we can do that during this season.

The Farmstand has been quite slow lately and we have been praying about and discussing what that means for us.

Originally we had planned to switch to only online presales starting in November. But with how the weekends have been and having so much leftover, we decided to start that in October.

We will be closed this weekend and have presales open the first weekend of October.

Our presale link is available in our account bio. But of course, I'll be posting it when we get closer.

We are thankful for every sale, every smile, and every interaction!

This isn't a "closed forever" post, just a transition into what feels right for this season. We will still happily bake for you! Just at a different capacity.
