Water striders aren't just amazing because they can "walk" on water. Did you know water striders eat a large amount of mosquito larvae? And something else that is really cool about them: you don't have to introduce them. If you build it, they will come! Striders actually have wings and will fly to your backyard pond or water feature on their own!

Hardy pond lilies are at Pure Pet - Ohio! These vigorous, long-lived perennial pond plants form graceful lily pads on the surface and most form blooms all summer long. They are best suited for medium to large ponds as they do spread and the large leaves can quickly cover the surface of a small pond. They should be potted or planted about 18-24" under the water for best results. We have various sizes and colors available, along with other floating and potted pond plants as well as healthy, well established pond goldfish and koi. Come see us 12-6, 7 days a week!

You know it's about to be summer when the pond plants arrive! They just got here and they look so beautiful and healthy! Of course, it will be chilly overnight later this week, so we do recommend bringing them indoors and putting them back out in the daytime
