in the two years I’ve been pet sitting, I’ve never gotten a request for another indy, but in the month since my indy went to puppy heaven, I’ve gotten two. tomorrow would be her 7th birthday, but instead I spent today with 7 month old indigo 💙 I miss my girl so much, but I have to imagine that this is her way of sending me some love for her birthday 🐾🪽

Dolly Parton is an icon in the world of children’s literacy, and I thought that putting together a list of new books for my kiddos this fall was the best way I could think of to honor her legacy.
