New week, same adorable faces! 🐾💙

Meet Gus & Max! 🥰

I had the pleasure of hanging out with these two handsome gentlemen over the long weekend while their mom was away.

And judging by these faces, I think we had a pretty good time. 😂

One thing about life? It doesn’t always go according to plan.

Sometimes you’re planning a vacation months in advance. Other times, something unexpected comes up and you need to be somewhere else.

And when that happens, the last thing you want to worry about is who’s going to take care of your pets.

That’s one of the things I love about what I do. Being someone families can count on, whether they’ve been planning a trip for six months or life just threw them a curveball.

Because peace of mind shouldn’t only come with a reservation made months in advance. 💙

Here’s to a new week, happy pets, and knowing you’ve got someone in your corner when life happens. 🐾

One of the greatest privileges of being a pet sitter? Getting to watch them grow up. 🥹💙🐾

This handsome boy is Goby, and he just turned SIX MONTHS OLD! 🎉

I’ve been lucky enough to be part of his world for a little over two months now, and let me tell you… they grow up FAST!

It seems like just yesterday he was a little puppy, and now look at him! Still a puppy, of course, just with longer legs, bigger paws, and a whole lot of personality. 😂

One of the things I treasure most about what I do is getting to build relationships with the animals in my care. Watching them grow, learning their little quirks, celebrating their milestones, and becoming a familiar, trusted part of their routine.

It’s so much more than walks, potty breaks, and playtime.

It’s being part of their story. 💙

And I never take for granted the trust their families place in me to be part of those moments.

Happy 6 months, Goby! Here’s to many more adventures, lots of love, and probably a few more chewed-up toys along the way. 😂🐾

One of the things I love about working with animals is that they’re really good at reminding us to stay in the moment.

They’re not worried about Thursday.
They’re not replaying last week.
They’re just happy you showed up today.

So here’s to a new week, a fresh start, and finding a reason to smile as big as Turner. 🥰

When you’re a cat sitter, 2 out of 3 ain’t bad. 😂🐱

Meet Gigi, Finley & Dilly — three kitties from the same household who I’m hanging out with for a few days.

Gigi? “Oh hi! You’re my new best friend.” 🖤
Finley? “Sure, we can hang.” 🤍🖤
Dilly? “Absolutely not. Please respect my privacy.” 😂

And honestly? That’s perfectly okay.

One of the biggest things I’ve learned caring for animals is to meet them where they are.

Some pets want all the attention. Some need a little time. And some would prefer that you simply provide the meals, scoop the litter box and kindly remove yourself from their personal space. 😂

Keeping their normal routine is important, too. Everyone gets wet food for dinner, and just because Dilly wasn’t interested in coming down didn’t mean she should miss hers.

So room service it was. 🍽️🐱

Dinner was delivered right to the top of the bookshelf, where Her Majesty had chosen to spend the evening. 👑😂

Pet sitting isn’t about forcing an animal to interact with you. It’s about making sure they feel safe, comfortable and cared for in their own home — however that looks for them. 💙

And with cats, sometimes earning their trust means giving them the space to decide when — or if — they’d like to be your friend.

For now, I’m calling 2 out of 3 a win. 😂🐾

Sometimes the smallest moments remind you that you’re really building something. 💙

I first met Tank and Rex’s dad while I was walking another client, Chase, who lives across the street. He saw us, asked if I walked dogs, and we started chatting. I gave him my Instagram information, and he invited me over to meet Tank and Rex—after making sure I wasn’t afraid of a pit bull. Clearly, he didn’t know me yet. 😂

He passed my information along to his wife, she reached out, and I’ve now had the pleasure of caring for Tank and Rex four or five times.

This morning, I was outside with Tank while Chase’s parents were across the street, sitting under a tree on their yard swing and drinking their coffee. They saw me, waved, and we exchanged our morning pleasantries.

It was such a simple little moment, but standing there, I thought… I’m really building something here.

One conversation. One recommendation. One family—and one very loved dog—at a time.

This is what being your neighborhood pet nanny looks like, and I’m so grateful for it. 💙🐾

Just a friendly reminder that Harmony Pet Nanny does, in fact, have clients who say “oink” instead of “woof.” 😂🐷💙

This is Munchkin.

She’s adorable.
She’s opinionated.
She has snacks on her mind approximately 97% of the time.

And yes, I get to call this work. 😂

One of my favorite things about pet sitting is that my days aren’t always dogs and cats. Sometimes you show up to work and this face is waiting for you.

10/10 would boop. 🐽

From “I need a little time to warm up to you” to… BESTIES. 🥰🐾

When Ginger & Molly’s mom first contacted me, she let me know that Ginger can take a little time to feel comfortable with new people.

So before I started caring for them, we didn’t rush it. We did two meet & greets so Ginger could get to know me on her terms and feel completely comfortable with me coming into her home while Mom was away. ❤️

Fast forward several months, and when it was time for me to care for the girls again, we did a little re-introduction visit last week just to make sure everyone remembered each other and felt good about it.

I’m thinking it worked. 😂

Just look at those faces! 😍

Sometimes good pet care starts before the pet sitting even begins. Every dog is different, and some just need a little extra time, patience and reassurance to decide you’re part of their circle.

Ginger has officially decided I’m in. 😂❤️🐾

And I’d say Molly approves, too.
